Take your Tanakh in the PM

Come and learn about about one of the greatest prophets in Jewish history: Jeremiah. What was Jeremiah's message to his people? What was Jeremiah's real mission? Was he successful? Was he a failure? In this TYT series, we will explore the life, times and prophecy of Jeremiah in a way which makes the Tanakh come to life. You won't want to miss out on this exciting and educational experience!

Take your Tanakh in the AM

In the morning class we explore the lives, personalities, struggles and moral messages of the Trei Asar, the Twelve Minor Prophets. Please join us we delve into the life and times of Hosea the Prophet!

The Shabbat Table: Friday Night Rituals Explained
In this one-of- a-kind seminar, we will explore the history and the meaning behind
some of the most time-honored Shabbat traditions that take place around the
Shabbat table. Why do we sing “Shalom Aleichem” and where does this custom
come from? Why do we refrain from speaking between washing our hands and
making “Motzi”? Why do we have two challot, and why do we cover them up
when we make Kiddush? What are the laws of Kiddush, anyway? If you are
interested in learning about all of the wonderful rituals that make the Shabbat
table complete, you won’t want to miss out on this unique seminar which is just
as informative for beginners as it is for the most advanced. So, join Rabbi Dan for
a learning experience that will not only enhance your knowledge, but your
Shabbat experience as well, as together we set the Shabbat table.

Downtown Parsha Study

CTI is launching a regular Parsha study in downtown Austin. This lunch-n-learn with the Rabbi will take place every other Wednesday from noon to 1:15 pm at the North Shore building off Cesar Chavez Blvd.
