Congregation Tiferet Israel is establishing an Orthodox Chevra Kadisha in our community.  As part of the startup effort, we will have a Shabbaton to learn about the functioning of a Chevra Kadisha and to recruit members. The weekend talks will include other subjects concerning some of the customs surrounding the death of a Jewish person.
