Hear what our students have to say about CTI Scholars
CTI Scholars is a twice-weekly Hebrew school program for children in grades 1 - 7.
The CTI Scholars curriculum is designed to provide students a thorough understanding of how to lead a rich Jewish life and participate in the Jewish community. To this end, students learn Tefillot, Jewish holidays, Jewish traditions and mitzvot, Torah stories, Jewish history, and how to read and write in Hebrew. Classes will include instruction, discussion, stories, activities, and crafts.
Students in our Akiva class will learn to read Hebrew. Students will learn essential Tefillot, including Shema and Adon Olam. This class will also focus on mitzvot and traditions surrounding Jewish holidays and understanding central stories from the Torah.
Students in Hillel will advance their knowledge of Hebrew, with lessons in writing and reading comprehension. Students will deepen their understanding of Torah, with lessons on how to incorporate Torah into their daily lives. This class will also learn Jewish history.
