One of the key lessons of Chanukah is searching for light in the midst of darkness. While COVID-19 continues to impact our community, CTI wishes to spread some light in the midst of this darkness. In lieu of our annual Chanukah party, we will be celebrating “Chai Lights!” On each of the nights of Chanukah, except Friday night, we will “chai-light” a different congregant or family who will invite the congregation into their home, lead us in lighting the Menorah, share some words of Torah, or even a favorite song, Chanukah tradition, recipe or game with everyone via Zoom. Perhaps you have a story you’d like to share, or a family Menorah you’d like to tell the congregation about? If you would like to volunteer for a night, please contact Rabbi Dan at rabbidan@tiferetaustin.org by December 6^th.

“Chai Lights” is a wonderful opportunity to feel connected during these times of social distancing, and spread some light from the comfort of your home into the homes and lives of others.
